
Frank Cerney has lived in California for over fifteen years. He has two sisters living in California and a father who still resides in Arizona. Frank enlisted in the Navy out of high school, but the Navy quickly recognized he was not the typical recruit, and rerouted him to the University of Arizona where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree and a Commission as an Ensign in 1990.
Completing his Sea tour with the VAW-112 Goldenhawks, an E2C squadron out of NAS Miramar, Frank returned to Tucson in 1995 to serve as the University of Arizona'a NROTC Aviation Instructor. While working full time as a college instructor and counselor during his three year tour, Frank completed the part-time MBA program earning his graduate degree in 1998.
He served on active and reserve duty for a total of 19 years and will complete 20 years of service this summer making him eligible for retirement from the Navy. He is a decorated veteran who most recently served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Frank's civilian career path has explored different industries and has considerably expanded his skillset. He is a hard working, educated, enthusiastic, process improvement specialist with extensive leadership, training, and management experience. He seeks a program pr project manager position with highly motivated, mission-oriented firm that will allow him to continue his professional growth.
He is married to the former Kristin Englehart of Gaithersburg Maryland. They live in Monrovia California and she works for the USC Cardiovascular Team as a perfusionist. They have one daughter and hope to have one more child in the near future.
